I have been unable to delete an MP3 (or figure out how/if you can use them)
from my ipaq 3600.

further to my post, I have tried directly on the ipaq,
and through the Acttive sync (Explore). Reply is "Cannot delete file bbb; Access is denied. " But, I don't think access restrictions are in place????

Try a soft reset, then try deleting the file - it's possible Windows Media Player is holding onto the file.
