OK, I have the 3955 with CF expansion slot and 256 MB SD card. I am not running any 3rd party programs...PROBLEM: When I am charged (even at 100%) when I remove from the cradle, it shuts off when I try and turn it on. DEAD. I have played with the standby settings on MAX and MIN and no difference. When I put back into the charger, it still shows I have battery life remaining...HELP!

I have also tried soft and hard boot and no difference. The backlight is on Auto.

The unit is about 1 year old. I use it for everything, MP3 player, Outlook, and keep it in the cradle most of the day, but now, I cannot even take it of the cradle for more than 2 seconds.

Is my Lithium battery dead or can I adjust some settings to fix this?
