Default Battery Pack 2003 and Journal Bar......ticking me off

I just downloaded the BP2003 and Journal Bar V1.2 after hearing how great many of you felt it was.

My problem now begins....after performing the install smoothly I place the 3970 back into the cradle and my unit decides to perform soft reset after soft reset. It is a never ending cycle, as soon as the syncronization is complete it soft resets. If I take it out of the cradle, the unit works fine. Something is going on while my PPC is in the cradle that wants to make it reset.

I have uninstalled the Battery Pack and my unit works fine.

I have a 3970 with PPC2002, the settings I have set in the Journal Bar are:
Checked - Sync when first docked
Checked - Check for Updates
Weather is set to search for zip 48***
News are default
Stocks are default
Links are default

Battery Pack 2003 settings:
Bar size is Small
Storage card is my SD slot
Update every 10 seconds
Checked - Show percent in meter
Position 1 - Memory
Position 2 - Storage card
Position 3 - Clock
Speech is default

Program Bar
All settings are default

Any clues? My problem is not with ActiveSync, which I am running 3.6, everything works fine until I install these programs. It makes me mad because a lot of you love this program and now I can't get to use it.

Thanks
Mike

Yeah, that does not sound normal or good. I would e-mail them to see if they have a solution. I have a 5455 and use the journal bar and the battery pack and never had anything like that happen.
