Default Activesync Problem....

Hello,
I've been using my HP Pocket PC without any trouble for some time, and now recently, when I place it in the cradle, Activesync 3.6 begins to sync for a few seconds, then stops and gives a message "Synchronization cannot be completed successfully. Disconnect and try again." Activesync then lists it as not connected. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the HP driver, Outlook, Active sync - I have tried all suggestions on the support page, and now I'm stuck. Has anyone had this problem before???

Any help would be great,

Anthony(tonyrxman@aol.com)

Yes I've (or rather my customers) had this problem many times...

Try deleting your partnership, and/or download the newest ActiveSync and try again.

Try to install ActiveSync again even if you already have the newest version installed.

What kind of OS do you have (98/me/2000/XP)?

Do you use USB? a USB hub, or maybe USB2?

Is it a desktop or a laptop? What kind?

After uninstall/re-install of Activesync, launch it (don't attach PPC) only to be sure no backup partnerships got reloaded. Also rename your PPC before Activesyncing.
