Default 6315/5550 Power Supply Comparison?

Of the hundreds of reveiws of the 6315 I feel like I've read so far, no one has mentioned one major thing (to me, at least):

Do I have to buy all new power chargers or can I simply swap the connector between them?

Considering that I'm thinking of turning my 5550 into one of the world's most expensive 1.5GB MP3 players, if I can only carry one charger between them for the road, etc would be great.

Default Nope

This is one thing I love about HP. They use the same power adapters and voltages in the power supplies. If you look at the littlod dongle adapter included with the 6315 it has the same serial number as the one I used with my 4155. So, my car adapter, my multiple power supplies all work.

Peace,

So, those of us going from the 5500 series to the 6300 series are SOL dongle-wise?

The redeeming factor, though, is that I get to keep using my power supplies (some of which are still in use from my 3640, believe it or not!) and only have to move the dongle around. Better than having to buy all new ons, I suppose!

No, the dongles are identical. You can use all the same power adapters dongles etc. Happy Pocke Computing.

Peace,
