The LCD of my beloved 4150 has just been damaged and I need to send it for repair. The unit is out of guarantee and I just found out that PPCTech is out of stock with no ETAs. Anybody has any suggestions? Is it worth the repair or would I be better off buying another iPaq? Which model would you repalce the 4150 with (I loved the form factor)?
The sad truth is that there is no modern Pocket PC that has the same form factor as the 4150 - the Axim X50 *looks* like the 4150, but it's taller and bigger overall.

I had to get my 4150 screen repaired too. PPCTechs has been out of stock for well over a year, so don't bother waiting. I sent mine to HP directly. I had it back in my hands in 4 days and they charged something like $200, including shipping.
PPCTechs told me to check back in 3 weeks. I just orderd a replacement through PDASmart. They will also send a special screw driver so cna I can change the LCD myself. Anybody ever done that? Any hints?
