Default 3970 and BT activesync question

I have a 3970 with BT and a Toshiba P4000 with BT. I can get the two to bond via BT but am unable to get anything to Sync. My Toshiba is running a works build of Windows 98. I do note on ActiveSync 3.5 which is installed there is no reference either in setting up or in the help file of using BT connections. Can anyone help me with this.

Regards

Sorry I can't be of more help. But in your bluetooth manager you should find two bluetooth serial ports. One will be incoming and one outgoing. You need to find the incoming serial port Com number. Then go to Activesync | File | Connection Settings... | And check the first box "Allow serial or infrared connection to this COM port". Set the com port to the incoming bluetooth port. And start activesync from your iPAQ using the bluetooth activesync prompt.
