3835 Wireless connection problems (I Think)
Ok I am a newbie at this wireless thing. Have a compaq ipaq 3835 with a Sierra Wireless Aircard 300. Now using the watcher program from Sierra, I can connect to my provider (Verizon) without a problem and use MSN IM, Pocket Exporer and inbox.
Now the problem:
Trying to use Yahoo Messenger (Supposed to be for the pocket pc)---No matter what I do I get NO CONNECTION messages.
One thing that puzzles me (Did I set up the card wrong). I notice in Dialup connections that the CDPD modem shows up as an option, but when I configure it--well it asks for a telephone number. This does not make sense. Its always on...there is no number. I would think it would show some sort of TCP/IP option. So I am total clueless here.
Anyone experience like problems or have any ideas?
