1945 problems...

My 1945 went from working fine to suddenly not working at all. The battery seems not to hold a charge _at all_ even after getting a brand new one.

I have gone back, reinstalled the ROM upgrade (1.1) and set up a new partnership, left it to charge fully

After tunring it on within seconds the backlight turns off, then flashes back on every few seconds while responding to nothing - and continues doing this for a while until it just dies.

The unit work fine with an AC adapter hooked up though.

Anyone have any ideas ?

i would have thought a new battery would have fixed it. sounds like a hardware issue.

Thats what I thought too.

I was just hoping I missed something somewhere and someone would post a nice simple solution... (sigh) Looks like it's dead Jim.
