Default Palm Reader vs Vade-Mecum

Has anyone successfully used the above combination on a single device? It'd be nifty to have access to all the tons of info that is out there in Plucker Document format, however, Plucker Documents and Palm Reader files both have the same file extension so I can't see the two playing nicely on a system unless the user knows specifically which pdb files in the Open dialog are Plucker format and which are Palm Reader format.

I seem to remember: The Palm Reader looks per default in a subdirectory to My Documents called Peanut Press. I have never used Plucker on a PPC.

I have Palm Reader (though not often), iSilo (in a subdirectory called iSilo) and standard Palm PDB files (anywhere else) on the same machine without problems.
