arnage2 Oracle Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 835		Xvid encoder Do any of you use a video converter that can convert xvid avi files to divx or mpeg? Id like my movies to be encoded in a format other than xvid for my clie and dell x30 __________________ Known as iNOMAD on other forums

However, I don't know you would want to change formats, as Xvid is consistently ranked as one of the best compression methods for video. It maintains the quality with great size reduction, better than DivX. I personally prefer the combination of Xvid video and Ogg Vorbis audio, both are great compression/quality and both are open source.
