Default PPC & live recordings?

Is it possible to make a quality live recording with a PPC? I am considering purchasing my first PPC and would like one capable of recording lectures and speeches. I know the iPaq 5400 has a combo mic/headphone jack, but I am leaning towards the 2215 or something of a similar size. If the built-in mic of a typical PPC cannot fulfill my need, does a CF or SD solution exist? Please advise.

You can definitely record lectures, and the built-in mic of any PPC should work fine. All Pocket PCs have built-in microphones. I personally use NoteM to record in 16kbps MP3 format.

Maybe the JVC PPC will be good for this job.
