Default pockettv or pocket mvp

except for the video playback

for those who have tried both,
which one do you think runs videos better??
or is there a better video player?

and where can i get them??

default windows media player sucks....always lags.
but maybe its cuz of my processor....300mhz.

I prefer to have both of them on my iPAQ.

From user tests on mpegs, pocket mvp outperforms the freeware pocket tv, but is slightly outperformed by the $50 version of pocket tv.

and of course pocket mvp plays divx (all the way up through 5.0.3 i know for sure).

of course the debates of divx (avi) vs mpeg are numerous (i prefer divx), but either way i think that pocketmvp is a winner.

I had them both installed and it was only last week that I realised I hadn't ran PocketTV for months - it has been removed.

DivX and OGG on PocketMVP are my formats/player of choice.

Default help please

Can anyone explain how to uninstall Pocket MVP?

I have it installed on my e-740 however I have doubts that the install is correct .

When i try to play an AVI file i get error " This file contains an incompatible audio and video format.

There are quite a few choices to select to a particular device when downloading so it is quite possible i downloaded version for another processor type

Glad to see this forum good addidtion!

I uninstalled it yesterday to get it to stop associating .ogg and .mp3 files (for which it has horrible playback- i mean it's OK sounding but it usually freezes)

Just go to remove programs and highlight pocketmvp and then hit remove.

Pretty simple, like any other program.

Worked for me.

Default how about asx, or asf files??

is WMP the only one thats capable of playing these?

i have a lot of these files....
quality isnt the best, but sizes are small, and are pretty good to watch, if they dont skip.
