Just for playing audio, I encode to WMA. For music, it sounds fine. Doesn't do so well with other sounds though. If you want WMA in your videos, however, you'll need to encode in WMV too -- WMP is the only player that supports WMA audio in video currently.
OGG takes more resources, yes, and doesn't seem to get along with the standard AVI container either. Which is why we use MP3 to encode our DivX AVI's.
Enter OGM containers. They require a few steps more than you're already taking to make DivX videos, but it will merge DivX with multiple OGG tracks if you like (ie. you can do a DVD with multiple languages, or get the commentary track) and can encode in chapters (ever wonder what the File->Chapters menu in PocketMVP was for? :wink: ). At this early point in the game though, the catch is that since OGG uses its fair share of resources, as does DivX, you have to pay more attention to your screen size, framerate, and bitrate or you'll start dropping a lot of frames.
