MBR support in Windows Media Player 10?

In http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/arti...n=expand,13897 , there was mention of MBR (multibitrate) support in WMP9. Is it still possible in WMP10 to connect to a higher bitrate stream (supposing it was supported)? I can only seem to get on to the lowest one.
