Flash Player for Pocket PC

Anybody know where i can get my hands on flash player 5 for pocket PC?. I know Flash player 6 is easily downloaded but is only a plug-in for the pocket PC's internet browser and not a stand-alone player so it can not be used for full screen apps.

For fullscreen you need Bryht's Flash Player 2.0. It's basically a stand alone projector that can play flash movies in fullscreen.

Thanks mate, lifesaver! Just want to try and get one thing straight....Macromedia Flash 2004 pro brags about how fantastic it is because of its support to mobile devices such as the pocket PC (http://www.macromedia.com/software/f...obile_devices/), for example the templates etc....how ever, even though they have just released this version of Flash, the projectors (full screen) it produces for the pocket PC will only be able to play on Flash 5 which is now unavailable?!?!?!?
I know that for an extra $500 or so you can get Flash for Pocket PC standalone player which produces .exe projectors so there is no need to download the flash installer for the consumer...which is good....but its still a pain in the &r$£ that they made flash player 5 unavailable!
One last thing....i preseume that because i have to have flash 6 installed on my pocket pc with the Bryht flash player to work, then i can utilise the capabilities of flash 6?

I'm fairly certain that the macromedia plugin is for flash MX/6 swfs. While viewing a flash movie on PPC, you can click and hold on the flash movie itself to get that newer "Settings Menu" which introduced the Mic/Webcam options for MX/6 movies.

As far as scripting goes, it's supposedly on par with flash 5 with maybe a few differences here and there between 6. I'm able to access external files, flash games and all the other standard flash tricks work, so it should suit your needs just fine.

I never knew Flash could output PocketPC compliant projectors, even if limited to flash 5 scripting. 5 is really quite powerful on it's own, I'll have to investigate this.

and click on "buy projector"....its a bit pricey (for a mere student like myself anyway!), but even though flash is installed on a number of Pocket PC's as it is, this will mean that the consumer will not need to download any plug-ins etc, which from a business point of view is pretty good considering you can get your product out to 100% of PDA's running 2002 and above....but then i bet you knew that.... :roll:
As for using actionscript 6 in bryth, like you say...actionscript 5 it pretty powerfull anyway!
