Default Best DVD combination?

Being something of a newbie to DVD ripping & encoding for handhelds I was wondering what the old hands think is the best software combination to use?

I'm running an Axim X50v which includes WMP 10, but also have BetaPlayer installed. I've been tinkering with Pocket DivX encoder 0.3.5 and Pocket DVD Wizard. Haven't noticed a huge amount of differenc anywhere. I like BetaPlayer & usually prefer to avoid Microshaft stuff on principle, but have to say I do find it easier to set up playlists & so on.

Opinions, please? uppydogeyes:

Thanks Bobby, I'll give that a try, too. If I can get my sync to stay connected - the usb 2.0 problem is driving me nuts. At least I think that's the trouble. Every time I try to send large files (music or video) the connection is dropped after about 5 mins.

Any ideas on that - or on the original question - most welcome.

Some users have had success using activesync to transfer large files from a wired connection but it takes a really long time and confusing messages have been noticed, The time to completion seems to constantly change, I personally use a Sandisk 6 in 1 card reader for transfering large files. They are very inexpensive at this time.
