Default Splash Money and Handy Shopper

Hi

More than very happy with my new HP 4700 but I am missing two Palm Apps:
1.) Handy Shopper. Palm only shopping list which allowed me to set my own columns on my shopping list and enter description free hand. Tried VOShopping but this was IMHO no way as good
2.) Splash Money. I like to enter my spending on my Palm and have a copy on my PC in Excel format. I use my Palm then for checking against my Bank statement.

Advice from ex-users of these programs please

Well, SplashData is making their applications for the Pocket PC now:

http://www.splashdata.com/ppc/splashid/index.htm

...so have you contacted them to ask if they're porting SplashMoney over to the Pocket PC?

I'm not sure about your first request - there are dozens of list-making programs out there (try searching Handango), but I don't know which one matches up with the app that you're used to using. Odds are, none of them will be exactly what you're looking for and you'll need to adapt to using a new one. ;-)

According to the SplashData PPC Yahoo! group the next application to be converted will be SplashMoney and then probably SplashShopper so you might not have long to wait since the SplashMoney conversion is well underway.

GREAT! Handyshopper for pocket pc... I've been a pocket pc user for years who recently switched to palm. The experience was fine, but i'm ready to switch again. The only one software I was going to miss is handyshopper. Not now . Can you use the databases from palm in pocket pc?
