Palm Tungsten E2 -- want a faster PDA -- HP, Dell or??

Well, believe it or not I have done this backwards.
Started with a Dell, sold it, bought a new Palm E2. Now I think the E2 feels slow and sluggish.

Question: What would be good, faster and slightly better resolution replacement choices in a PDA? HP, Dell, Asus or other brands? Trying to keep the cost to about mid range if possible.
