O2 XDA lli

I have an 02 XDA lli which is is pristine condition.I've had the phone since 05 running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.

I stopped using the device about 18 months ago and have lately reinstated it with an O2 PAYG sim.

After all this time I thought I ought to update the ROM but O2 customer services say that the downloads for the XDA lli have been archived.

Two questions really,can anyone help re any known site that I could upgrade the ROM and can I upgrade Windows Mobile 2003 to 5.

Officially, this can't be done - no upgrade WM5 ROM was ever issued for the IIi. However...try a google search for the xdadevelopers forum. You can probably find help there, but be warned that proceeding with 'cooked' ROMs will void any warranty, and could brick your device.
