Default HELP! My HTC 8125 keeps eating batteries!!!

Ok so im really a verizon kinda guy, but i have been wanting a ppc for a long time. So i bought this cingular 8125 for 30 bucks and was told it just needed a battery. i bought one and put a prepaid sim chip in it, and it is was shutting off when you slide it closed to fast. or just get the white screen and freeze and have to reboot it. its acting like a crapy computer. and when i hooked it up to my computer once it zapped my comp. and it than then the next day it just stopped working like when i got it the battery is shot. i put the battery on a voltage meter and i know its bad again. does anyone know why it is acting this way or any one that repairs these i would really like to use it for my business (thats why i bought it) so i would be willing to pay someone to update it or figure whats wrong with it. please any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all

You could try PPC Techs and see if they could fix it.
