Hi,
i installed a certain program, it doesn't matter which one, & now i want to uninstall it & i can't.
i get a message that the files are in use & i need to close all programs, but when i'm going to the memory window there are now programs running(!)
how to uninstall it please?

I would try this:

1. Soft-reset
2. Re-install the program again (overwriting whatever files are there)
3. Soft-reset
4. Uninstall

Just an FYI, but Spb's Pocket Plus has an option that lets you boot up in safe mode - which means NO background programs are in use. It has helped me several times. Of course, an occasional hard reset is good for a PPC's soul - as well as yours.
