We have just launched the final version of VoiceMP3, and a brand new free evaluation copy is available for download on our web site!
A big thanks to everyone who registered as a beta tester and downloaded a copy, we hope you had a positive experience evaluating the software. Your feedback and comments have helped shape the final version of VoiceMP3. Before installing the final evaluation release on your PDA, we recommend uninstalling the old beta copy.
Some of the features in the final release include:
Basic Playback Commands
Speak a file name (say, “Load, [welcome]”)
Reads the current song out loud (or the next song or the previous song)
Say, “play, pause, stop, next, or back”
Say, “shuffle, repeat, screen off,” etc.
Say, “volume up, volume down, mute,” etc.
Playlist capabilities
Add, Delete, Modify playlists
Load playlist by saying, “Load playlist, [playlist name]”
Reads current playlist out loud
Browse Songs
Say, “Browse Songs”
VoiceMP3 will read all the song titles.
Say, “Play” after the song you want to hear, and it will be automatically loaded
Options
New Click & Release method for speech input (custom listen duration)
Custom “Try Again” message
“Test” button to make VoiceMP3 say whatever you want it to
