Hmmm... You know what? C# is good, and so is VB .NET for PPC programming. When it comes to programming, the best thing I would advise is to take a *college* course on a specific language. Find your local community college and ask the CIS or CIT or computer science department and ask to find a good teacher who can start you off, because when it comes to programming anything (any program, esp. games), it is good to get a good foundation and learn to *think* like a programmer should. It is hard to achieve these fundamental requirements on your own in a short amount of time. Sure you can learn the language on your own but you might struggle when ever it comes to more advanced programming topics besides learning the language itself. If you miss the opportunity to get the right guidance at your start-off, you might regret it. I think any programmer would tell you that the one thing you *MUST* have is *patience*. Make sure you understand steps A, B, C, & D before you jump to E....this is very important. When I was learning long ago, I never had any guidance...I was teaching myslef. Now I know I should of taken a college course. Take one college course on programming (summer will take 1-2 months or fall/winter/spring will take 4 months) and you won't regret it. BTW, make sure the teacher is really good and knowledgable (some aren't).
