Default USB for toshiba E310, software developers....

I was thinking, they make the wires that plug into the bottom of the Toshiba E310, wouldn't it be possible to take one of those, and a usb femal to femal adapter (AKA Sex changer) so you could plug in a USB keyboard, mouse, HD, or any other device, even if it isn't USB and you had the adapter...... The only problem is drivers, if someone would like to get in on this email me Santacruz395@aol.com, this idea product could be sold, and a lot of money could be made, the same thing could be mad for any other pocket pc to...... Thank you

I'm not sure about the toshiba, but most of the PPCs out there can only act as client devices, not as host devices. The PPC is like a mouse or keyboard, not like your computer with a real OHCI/UHCI controller in it.

But, maybe the toshiba can be a host, I don't know for sure. I think I've heard of PPC devices in the works that can be a host for USB cameras/etc, but I don't remember any specifics...

Isn't there an e740 adapter that includes USB hub facilities?
