Help--USB connection between PPC and device

Hi,
I intend to use Toshiba E350/750 or other PPC with a CF host card, to control a device visa USB connection. On the device side, there is a USB receiver and a controller.
Basically, there will be a xx.exe installed in the PPC. When it is run, the user will input something and the device is supposed to received the processed data.
Does anyone have any idea?? Or can I use a driver directly??
