"NS Basic allows developers who have used tools like Visual Basic and eMbedded Visual Basic to rapidly develop applications for Windows CE devices. NS Basic is a complete, powerful development environment. NS Basic includes features such as databases, serial and IR communications, signature capture, bar code reading, wireless communications and more. NS Basic/CE is priced at $149.95 for a single user version. An Enterprise edition is available. There are no runtime royalty charges for apps created with NS Basic/CE."

The competition is split into three categories: Business/Enterprise, Games and Open each with a prize of $100. Submissions should be NS Basic applications or ActiveX controls which can be used within NS Basic. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2005 at 12 midnight EST.
