The next
Perth Mobility User Group meeting takes place next Tuesday, December 12, 2006, usual time and place.
If you've not yet attended one of the meetings, they are a great opportunity for anyone interested in technology (developers and end-users) to gather and discuss all things mobile - from Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs and Smartphones, to Tablet PCs and Ultra-Mobile PCs (UMPC) - so, come along!
Details for the December meeting are as follows:
When: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - Starting at 5:30pm. Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month.
Where: Fujitsu Australia Ltd, Level 15, 191 St George's Terrace, Perth WA 6000, Australia (corner of St George's Terrace and Mill Street).
Who: Anyone interested in mobile technology.
Agenda: Expect a lot! We'll have a demonstration of
Windows Vista's inking features with the aid of a Wacom tablet, a hands-on look at the
Zune, a demonstration of
Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 and the
Windows Live Search mobile client, a round-up of the month's hottest mobility news, and to finish off, there will be general discussion over pizza, and drinks at The Chifley.
We'll also be giving away a few items: an Imation Disc Stakka, and a boxed copy of Application Center 2000, among other things.
If you have specific questions or comments about mobile devices, accessories, software, product development, and even the industry in general, bring them to the meeting and we'll discuss them as a group. And don't forget to bring your gadgets!
