Default Wireless Internet (another one) Ipaq 2750

After perusing the mass of response on this issue, I am still at a loss.

Here's the issue.

If I have wireless on (blue light flashing) and my ipaq in it's cradle and connected via usb to my laptop, it has no problem connecting to the internet. When the ipaq is off the cradle, explorer returns a message "the page you are looking for cannot be found".

If anyone can shed some light on this for me it would be appreciated.

In network settings screen, I have both the connect to internet and private network set to BT. Within the Edit of each setting, their are no settings made except for under proxy settings, the this network connects to the internet box is checked.

In Wireless Networking, my connection is shown as connected, network name = BT, Connect to Work, This is a device to device connection is checked, Network key is WPA-None, Data Encryption TKIP, Network key entered by me (also created by me), 802.1x I do not have access to the fields. My laptop which connects fine (as well as other PC's) has a network authentication of WPA-PSK, not sure if this is an issue if the PPC has WPA-None.

Here's Hoping
