Using my Qtek 9100 as a modem for my e800

I have a Qtek 9100 that connects to Cingular's GPRS/EDGE network. My account is still on the "blue" side (aka I'm a former AT&T customer, absorbed by Cingular).

I have bonded my Toshiba e800 to my 9100, but I can't get it to dial out. Has anyone tried this before and can anyone share their experiences with it?
