Default The use of BT GPS disable the screen/battery saver

I am using a HTC 3450 with WM 6. When I activate the bluetooth network to connect to my GPS device, the screen auto-shutdown (screen switching off after 2 minutes of inaction) become disabled. That is even when I shutdown my bluetooth and no longer use the GPS device (switched off). The only way to re-activate the normal screen auto-shutdown is to manually re-initialize my mobile device. Any ideas?

That is not typical. It is however typical for navigation software to disable auto-shutdown. Sometimes that is an option setting. Is the software still running when you disconnect the BT...in the background even?

Thank you very much Sven, you were right. I was shutting down my GPS device and my bleutooth but the application was still in memory. By shutting down the application, the PPC has returned to a normal behavior. Thanks!
