Don't know where to set it on TomTom but the GPS in the Tytn produces data on COM 4 at 9600 Bps. I have the ATT Tilt, which should be essentially the same device, and have been pretty impressed by the GPS. I'm using Mapopolis and a couple of online things that can read GPS data, Windows Live Search and Virtual Earth Mobile.

Set up the GPS as 'OTHER NEMA GPS RECIEVER" and COM4, it will work just fine then.
