Default Teletype 16 Channel GPS

I just ordered one of these to use with Dell X50v. I have Tomtom and MS Streets & Trips. Has anyone used a Teletype yet? It gets good reviews on cnet but they are unreliable.

I have one and I love it. A friend bought one as well. No issues.

Quick connection and picks up sat signals in other places where older BT GPS would not. (like inside my house).

Longest the battery has lasted is 26 hours of constant use.

Hope you enjoy it.

Default Teletype

I've got a SX66 with the 16 channel receiver but from a place called storagemedia.com. I had my first one die on me but was replaced when I got back from trip. I think that there was something wrong with the first on because the second one locks on within 30 seconds!!! In less than a minute I have no less than 10 or more satelites going. I like the software for it's compact maps ( can store almost the entire US on a 1 gb card). I think all software has some issues some where no matter who you go with. It does have a lot of features that take some time to learn but I think that is well worth learning. 0X
