According to The Register, Westminster Council is palnning to provide blanket WiFi coverage for the whole of Soho in London. The project should start next month and finish by mid 2004.
The idea is that the network is needed by the council for hteir own use but will be open to the public.
"Shop and Surf"? Let's hope it happens and that it's a trend that spreads elsewhere.
