Default Skype + 1940 + Spectec WiFi

I'm going to Europe and before I plunk down $ for the pay-as-you-go feature for SkypeOut (using Skype to make voice calls to a real telephone number) I want to make sure I can accomplish this with my setup:

HP 1940 + Spectec WiFi SD card

I know the processor is a little lacking, but are there quality settings I can tweak within Skype to make this work?

Thanks guys/gals.

If not, how about 2210 + spectec?

You'd definitely be better off with the h2210 than the h1940. While the latter's Samsung S3C2410 266MHz processor works great, it may choke when making or receiving Skype calls.

The h2210, on the other hand, satisfies the CPU requirements of Skype, and the Wi-Fi SD card should work fine with it.
