Default Pharos SDIO what maping software is compatible? /good GPS?

I have ordered the Pharos SDIO gps unit to work with my axim (2week wait from dell still)

What maping software is compatible with this gps unit?

I have the unit in my hand and have read the instuction book, but I do not see anything about it working with other software anywhere.

I also have not been able to find reviews for this SDIO and am hoping it will perform well inside my car. Does anyone know of it's performance?

Nearly all GPS software are compatible to the NMEA 0183 protocol...
After which it is a matter of assigning the correct COM port.
A quick and easy test.

Download the software and a trial map. You oughta be good to go in 10 min.

What about the Ostia Software?
