iPAQ 5450 and Nokia 6310i BT

I'm looking for some help. I'm trying to pair my iPAQ 5450 and a Nokia 6310i BT.

I've followed the diagrams and instructions on the HP document:

This gets us in the park, but the BlueTooth Manager is a bit different in the set-up menu in the 5450 series.

So, I'm looking for a 5450 owner who can point me toward the proper step by step to having the Nokia 6310i shake hands and "Keep the BT connection."

I have been able to make them pair, but as soon as they do, the iPAQ 5450 immediately disconnects from the phone.

By the way, I have successfully paired my 6310i to the Jabra SpeakFree BT headset. Very nice! And yes, I'm using a different pairing code for Jabra headset and 6310i. However, in trying to pair the iPAQ 5450 and Nokia 6310i, I don't even have the Jabra turned on, to avoid conflicts in the beginning steps of my trial.

Your wisdom is appreciated.

So nobody has an iPAQ 5450 and a Nokia 6310i BT?

I wish I would've read this post earlier. I have a 5450 and a friend with a 6310i. If you'd like me to test it out for you I can do it this weekend. Let me know.
