Default Internet via BT AP

I hope somebody can give me some advice on getting my PDA to connect to the internet via a bluetooth access point.

I have a Audiovox Maestro with a SocketCom CF BT card fitted and have had some success connecting wirelessly to a BT GPS receiver and ActiveSyncing with my desktop (USB dongle). However, I have failed dismally to connect to my BT AP. The AP is connected to my ADSL router and I am able to detect and pair with it, but when I try to connect to the LAN from the BT mannger software on the PDA, it stops at 'Connecting to host' (it keeps retrying, but goes no further).

Whilst the ActiveSync on the PDA lists the addition BT connection options of ActiveSync and LAN, I am unable to select any connection options in the connections settings other then the 3 default modem ones; network cards also only list the default network cards (i.e. no additional BT modem options as in ActiveSync).

I think I need to makes some changes in my connection settings but am unsure what .... help. :?
