Default iGO8 with HTCP4350 and external Bluetooth GPS Receiver

Ok, i have a working iGO8 software in my pda.
I have tested on other devices and it works fine.

BUT on my HTC P4350, how do i connect the software to the BlueNext BN909GR bluetooth receiver?

Any help would be greately appreciated.
  • I enable the external bluetooth receiver.
  • On my pda i go on Start-->Settings-->Connections-->Bluetooth.
  • I select Add a new device.
  • Then it asks me for a passkey. I give 0000. Then i select Save. [At this step are the pda and the receiver paired? or i need to do something more?]
  • On the COM Ports tab from Start-->Settings-->Connections-->Bluetooth, i select New Outgoing Port and i select Port6.
  • On my pda i go on Start-->Settings-->System-->External GPS [What settings do i need to do here?]
  • First tab: Select GPS program port: i choose 7
  • Second tab: Hardware - Select GPS hardware port: i choose 6 [program port and hardware port can not be the same] and Baud rate: 9600
  • Third tab: i check on "Manage my GPS automatically"
  • I run iGO8 and when it scans for ports it says: GPS receiver not found!

I am thinking that my mistake is that the receiver and the pda are not paired. How do i do this? Is the a software that can help?

Any suggestions are welcome...
