how to make WZC manual?

is there a way to make connecting to any access points manual?

i mean, when i enter areas with lots of wifi providers, it would seem that my handheld does not know to which AP to connect; and i have to go into the settings itself..

also, even if i uncheck the “connect to non-set profiles,” i still have them showing up...

i would really appreciate if any could show me the best way of using the built-in wifi functionality of WM2003... if it is possible, i would like to have non-defined profiles not to show-up, but still able to connect to prferred AP (just like in Windows XP)
