Default HI-406BT pairing problem

Hi all,
I am using new Haicom HI-406BT bluetooth GPS module with T-Mobile MDA Vario pocket and Tomtom 5.21 Navigator. All works fine and I am very satisfied with GPS excelent sensitivity. Only problem is that I need to pair GPS device with pocket every time I turn it on. Some times ago I used other GPS module (Navicom 308) and I must pair it with pocket only for the first time I used the device. After that, every time I turned GPS on and run navigator, device was automaticaly recognized and paired with pocket.

Is it normal? Is the problem with my MDA Vario od with GPS module? Do anybody have some similar experience?

Tom

Hi all, I solved problem myself. There must be NOT checked "Secure connection" when creating outgoing COM port in BT manager tab 3. Then GPS is recognized fine whenever run TomTom navigator (or other navigation SW).

Hope this helps others :-)
