Default HELP: Zero Config gets confused and cant connect

Im presently here at a place where there are a lot of access points, ie., hotspots.

However, whatever I do, from soft resets, etc., i just cannot make my WM2003 handheld connect... and it is pain - what use is having a built-in wiFi connection then?

this only confirmed my worries - Zero Config is USELESS once in the presence of lots of WiFi APs... basically i never get this problem whenever im in a place that has only ONE AP...

does anyone know of a way to get past this inherent limitation of the OS (Zero Config), and allow me to manually connect to my preferred networks? what work-arounds have you used? any usable third-party software?

having this automation is driving me crazy, and i feel that M$ did another botched-up lackluster thing...

thanks a million...

I have had a similar problem but I have actually been able to connect, for the most part, that I can remember. Tweaks2K2 allows you to disable the zero configuration all together but I think you need other drivers then--maybe not.
