EDGE problem in Vancouver

Hi there, i was so exited about getting the ATOM for a whole lotta reasons but mainly due to the EDGE it supports & as i have an unlimited Data Plan with Fido.. but now i'm having a really hard time getting connected to EGDE, i'm not sure if its due to the ATOM or the Fido Network in Vancouver out here. It always connects to GPRS but rarly to EDGE it might be related to where i live actually, like i can get EDGE in Downtown Vancouver, & some places in Burnaby, but i live in East Van where i never got it there. But even when i was able to browse with EDGE the max speed i got was actually 98kb/s & it was tested through www.cnet.com.

Anyways, does anybody else has the same problem? any suggestions?
