DCF-660W Wireless 2.4GHz CF Adapter -->PCMCIA?

I recently purchase the D-Link DCF-660W Wifi CF Card from CompUSA, well, because it was just so darn cheap ($20 after rebate). It's still somewhere on the road trying to get to my house, but I thought I'd find out the following while I'm waiting. I have a CF-->PCMCIA adapter that I use to transfer images from my CF cards to my laptop. Is it possible to use the CF-->PCMCIA adapter in combination with my new D-Link DCF-660W in my laptop for Wifi? They boldly claim: "You can use a PCMCIA Converter to with this card in any Windows Laptop or Notebook".
