Default CF WiFi Card: You can't take it with you

I grabbed one of those NetGear MA701 cards for my Dell Axim and got it working with my home WiFi without a problem. I've seen smaller, but it isn't the largest card I've seen.

Anywho, I'm about to leave for work (or maybe Starbuck's :wink and the CF card doesn't exactly fit in my case when I put the Axim in there with it. I even sprung for Dell's larger leather case, but no dice.

How do you guys bring these things around with you?

$4.95 Targus (yes with velcro) works for me. Has an elastic band on the other side where I house my CF WiFi card and extra CF 32MB card.

I found a small plastic box (at Muji) that is a perfect size for a couple of CF cards (memory, Bluetooth, WiFi). I've heard of others using a LowePro case from camera shops that takes a few CF cards and a PCMCIA adaptor. Should also cope with slightly larger WiFi cards.

I have enough PC card adapters and CF card accessories that I carry a separate bag (any small camera bag or travel bag will do) that houses all of my extras.

Default The reason I am gravitating toward a 5400...

Take a look at this photo:

That is why I am seriously considering taking the plunge with a 5400! Carrying all of this extra stuff with me is negating the convenience of a POCKET device! I had the CF card in my front pants pocket (I had taken it out momentarily to show something that was on my CF memory card), and unbeknownst to me, I had somehow dropped the card on the ground! A friend next to me saw it lying there, and when I picked it up, I realized that I had also stepped on it!!!! (Yes, it still works!)

I want to consolidate as much as I can.
Ultimately, I want to get the 5400, with the largest SD card I can afford. No more carrying around CF this and CF that...
I want to picket up my device, walk out the door and know that I have everything I will need when out...

Matt

Take a look at the Grinder Gear cases (http://www.grindergear.com). They make a basecamp model that will hold the PPC and some "stuff" on the outside.

Those grinder gear cases look great. On their site, you get 5% off if you do the survey and 10% if you can tell them the origin of their company name "Grinder Gear". I could not find it on Google or a search of their site, but it anyone knows, post it here.

I'd love to know as well.

These cases look nice. I would never use it day-to-day, but for special circumstances where I need everything well protected, this is great.
