Default Which carrier and equipment for mobile access?

For a while I've been contemplating investing in a CF wireless modem so that I can stay connected while traveling.

The CF CDMA modem that Sprint offers is attractive because I could use it in my PPC and my laptop. (At the moment I can only get to my work e-mail via the laptop).

Sprint however have decided to increase the cost of their unlimited data plan to $120.00 per month. (Was $100.00 which was bad enough).

I notice that Verizon's unlimited plan has actually reduced in price from $100.00 to $80.00.

This raises a few questions, I'm trying to get answers for:

Would it be possible to get the Sprint card and activate it on Verizon?

Does anyone else make or sell a CF CDMA card? Verizon only has a PC card.

Is there a GPRS card available as an alternative? Again, I've not seen a CF one.

Would I be better off getting a BT CF card for my Axim (and laptop) and a BT phone? I already have ATTWS GSM service. There doesn't seem to be a data cable available for my current Seimens phone, or I would go that route in the short term.

Should I just spend a lot of time in Starbucks and get the TMobile service using the 802.11b card I already have?

Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Wait a month.

I was talking to a cell phone dealer guy I know this weekend and he said that in about a month the FCC is going to change some stuff and all the providers will be undercutting prices like mad.
