Default Can you dial contact numbers on a Nokia 3650 using Bluetooth??

I have an iPAQ 2215 and a Nokia 3650 cellphone. I don't know where I got the idea that I could dial a number from my iPAQ Contacts, which would result in my Nokia 3650 dialing the number....all thru bluetooth

Can this be done at all....and if yes, can anyone point me to a resource...

I have gotten some of it done...but my iPAQ says the phone needs a Serial Port Profile. I can't find any such thing in Nokia docs.

Thanks in advance..

Hi there

I am doing this using an applicaiton called mPhone with my 2210 and Nokia 6210 via bluetooth. I works really well.

mPhone comes in 2 versions. The standard one (the one I use) has a phone dialer, sms reader/writer (my favourite feature) and phone book manager for the phone. The professional version adds a ringtone composer and logo designer.

You can find a review that I wrote here

The Phone Compatibility Page doesn't specifically mention your phone but you can download a 14 day trial and see if it works. You may need to experiment with different phone models if yours is not listed specifically.

Another app I know of is BVRP Phone Tools but I could not use it with my 2210 and phone at the time I was looking.

I have a H2210 and a Ericsson T39mc, which is much older than your Nokia. I just tap and hold a contact in my contact list and tap on "Dial via Bluetooth" on the pop up menu. No additional software required. If it works on my old T39 it probably works on your new Nokia.

NOkia phone 3650 has the worst BT compatibilities, Mphone might not support this newer model yet , but it's doable with the Infrared connection
