Default Bluetooth sync with IPAQ 5455 and desktop

Can anyone give a detailed account of how to activesync PPC and desktop using bluetooth. I have a Belkin USB Bluetooth adapter and an IPAQ 5455 which is bluetooth enabled. I followed the setup wizard on the IPAQ but have not been able to sync wirelessely. I have paired devices and suspect my problem is in the settings for the COM ports. Unfortunately, all the documentation is very vague. I need help to put this technology into play! A step by step guide would be helpful to many.

In actvesync set the serial port to 5, on the ipaq go to the bluetooth manager and bond the two devices. Then you should be able to select your desktop as an activesync partner and that should be it. I don't have a 5450 so I can't really help in the exact menu locations but I have a 3970 and a belkin usb dongle and it works great.
