Default Bluetooth or data cable

Ok. Thinking about buying a Sony Ericsson T610. I have a Toshiba E755. I have two questions:

1) how good will (if I buy a CF or SD bluetooth adapter) the bluetooth connection be for browsing the web?

2) or is a Data Cable from the phone to my PDA better? And if it's the cable route any help finding the right cable would be mucho appriciated. I can't seam to find a cable.

Thanks!

It will be more convenient ifyou use the bt sd card and a lot less to carry around. connection? that will have to do with your distance between the two and the reception of your cell phone. The problem with cell phones is that you dont always know when there will be a dead spot. For the most part it will work fine. YOu are making your life easier in one sense having the technology there for you. IN another sense technology always has a way of getting on everyones nerves

Cool. Since the E755 has built in Wi-Fi and I'm in NYC (Wi-fi everywhere and I just became a member of http://www.warchalking.org/ ) I figure I'll be covered with the bt or cable as well and also when I'm on the road.

Any recomendations on Bluetooth SD Cards?

You should not have to worry about the bluetooth connection between the pocket pc and the wireless phone. I have a t616 with cingular and a h5555 iPAQ and have gone up to the rated 30 feet between the devices and have never lost a connection. Plus most of the time they will be only feet if not inches from each other. As far as the actual internet connection, since that is done on GPRS you will find that that signal stays pretty constant while the voice signal goes in and out. The toshiba bluetooth card should woild perfectly with your PPC. However, I would now like to recomend you sell your PPC on ebay and move up to any of the iPAQs with built in bluetooth so you can recapute your SD slot and enjoy the benefits of Windows Mobile (aka Pocket PC 2003)...Good luck and email me if you need any settings for the t616...

Thanks for the Info Big Daddy.

Question for you: Do you know what the difference is between the T616 and the T610 ? Seams like they are the same phone.

And sell my E750. Never! I love it too much. Built in WiFi and not only a SD slot but a CF slot too. It rocks!

The only difference I see is the freq (850mhz vs. 900mhz) I think all the US providers have the t616 or t610 with upgraded firmware...My t610 from tmobile UK is a t610.

As far as keeping your Toshiba....Whatever you do...do not follow this link http://www.shopping.hp.com/cgi-bin/h...owse_link=true

lol...Good Luck!

Wow that Ipaq is very nice. I didn't want to spend that much. Got my E755 for $350 via $100 in rebates.

Now I just have to find a good SD BT card. The Toshiba one didn't get great reviews.
