Default Bluetooth active sync almost works...help please!

I have my iPAQ trying to connect, then eventually it says that a connection could not be established. I have tried different serial ports, client bluetooth, etc.

any ideas?

thanks

hmmm. Don't know if this will help. I had a similar problem and it was that I was using the wrong port settings.

On my Ipaq 4355, under Bluetooth settings, my ports read::

Inbound com port 8
Outbound COM port 6

Make sure your device name for ppc is same as listed with bluetooth profile.

I am having issues myself with Activesync via bluetooth. I can connect and sync, but it acts as if it is recognizing the device for the first time. It then does the same thing when I sync with my desktop. Very frustrating.

Hope the above helps. If not, check back and I'll check my other settings.
